Borrowed and Blue

My dear sweet Mary was kind enough to let me borrow her gorgeous summer dress that she made with her own two hands. Isn't that amazing!? I really love this dress. Lucky for me, we're exactly the same size! Yessssss. We were both really excited when we discovered that.
I just learned how to sew but I'm nowhere near this level. I can't wait to make dresses of my own! Especially vintage inspired pieces like this one. Mary and I are planning on having weekly sewing sessions at her house in south Austin. She turned her spare bedroom into her sewing quarters and I love it! We're gonna be dress making machines! Coming soon, a post all about Mary, her badass sewing skills and her 3 rambunctious pugs. Thank you for letting me share this dress, Schmarebear!

cardigan - Target
