James and I went to Abilene to help his mom out this past weekend. We mostly stayed in but spent a couple of hours walking around downtown. We went to some great art galleries and had lunch at a brewery where we shared a giant bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale. All around great day with my Sweet Baby James. My bangs were getting ridiculously long so I got a quick trim the day before we left. I'm not very happy with them so they'll take some getting used to. I was cursing myself for not going to Kari, my fabulous hairdresser friend. Sorry Kari! You think you can fix this? I was getting extra sad today because they're not doing what I wanted them to do. I'm willing my hair to grow! I take a long hard look in the mirror and strain my bang muscles. Oh well... It's just hair right? Right?! *gulp* I will get past this.
The top floor of the Grace Museum was like stepping out of a time machine. They had mock households designed to look like the 20s to the 70s. Along with this little boot shop. I loved that floor. I'll post that very soon.
Aww he's shy. :)
