You know how I love the brown word. That's probably because of Chip Sutphin. Serial Mom is my #1 favorite from the John Waters collection. This movie is so delightfully screwed up, I just can't get enough of it. My cousin Meghan and I watched this movie over and over when we were about 14 years old and we would take turns saying our favorite lines. Rewind and repeat. If you haven't seen it please do. Go put it in your Netflix queue! I'll wait here...
I love that part. Then, of course, comes all the murdering. The reasoning behind them all is so ridiculous and absurd. That's what makes this movie so great. That and the cast. Kathleen Turner, Ricki Lake (Go Ricki! Go Ricki!), the adorable Matthew Lillard, Mink Stole, Tracy Lords, Patty Hearst, L7 and Suzanne Somers.
I have never heard anyone call it the brown word before! I swear far, far too much... I've never seen this film, really ought to watch more...
